Thinnium

These were the containers that were used in the olden days to store grains. They were loaded fully during the harvest season from the top. A small door at the bottom is used to take the grains when required. This is made of wood and occupied a corner at all houses.

A typical South Indian house.. the roofs are made of bamboo and a different kind of bricks. the place to the right in the photo is the open space in the house, with the sun rays pouring in.
