Hi, My ancestors come from Kalathur in Tiruvarur district and just returned from a disappointing trip to kalathur where the riverbed was totally dry and there was hardly any greenery.
Is this the same Kalathur in your pictures? Near Koradachery junction? It looks so beautiful - makes me want to go back there in august.

This is the same Kalathur which you are talking about. I had been there in august and if it rains well, you should be lucky this august.
