A Life's lesson in a dew drop

The dew drop. Standing delicately on a blade of grass, its life is threatened by countless factors. It could be shaken of the grass by people or animals treading. It could be blown away by the wind. It could evaporate in the strong sun. Yet, it captures the imagination of people. It reflects the world around it. It scatters the sunlight, making it glitter like a diamond, though it is the same sun that would eventually destroy the dew. So delicate, yet, so strong.

Our life is similar to that of the dew. A thousand things can go wrong that might end our lives abruptly. But, the time we live, we should make it worthwhile. Spread the happiness and joy, the way the dew spreads the light. Show your strong self during rough times, but still, be gentle to people around you. After all, there is only one life that we get live and this is the one.

I got a new friend in my journey. He has been my friend and now is joining this never ending journey. Welcome Arvind!!!
From now Arvind will start posting in this blog in the same lines as how i used to do. He is an excellent amateur photographer, and you all will soon see it for yourself.
Coincidentally or whatever one can call, I came to know Arvind only through journeys. In the Chennai suburban electric train from Villivakkam to Beach and from there MRTS to Thiruvanmiyur. Those 2 months were complete joy, out from college and into work environment. In the morning and in the evening, be it waiting for our train "crushes" to board our compartment or stealing the five minutes gap between the two trains to grab a hot dosa from Saravana Bhavan. Each moment was fun.
As we take the journey once again, i hope this journey too will be filled with moments just like those. Moments that needs to be treasured.
Welcome Aboard!!!

Just looking at the temple brings a calm and peace into everybody. This is something apart from the religion. Go inside this temple and the whole body, mind and soul relaxes. And nature plays the important role in this. The serene location and nature's sound will calm any person.

I was really surprised to see the Jagannath "Car" near Venice beach. Not only this but lots of people, Americans and Indians singing bhajan. A bhog going on along side with Indian dishes. It was as if we entered India. Lots of Americans wearing Saree and guys wearing Kurta could be seen.

KLIA

KLIA, originally uploaded by Harish's eyes.

My first destination outside India was Kuala Lumpur. Though i had to spend only three hours there before taking the flight to United States, i was a bit nervous. Anyone who saw my face as i landed in the airport would knew that I was a first time traveller. Thanks to my Visual Signs skills, i was able to easily spot the toilets. Once i found them, i remebered the malay equivalent of the same (i forgot it now :)).
But the KLIA was a good airport for its huge area

Window

Window, originally uploaded by Harish's eyes.

A dark room, window in the corner and light outside it. Was a perfect view when seen directly. Wanted to take it as it is and switched on my camera. But it was all dark in the camera screen. Still clicked it. Turned out better than the blank and black camera screen.
